Work inside a course
Find course context, move between learning areas, and understand why some resources or actions may be unavailable.

Before you start
- A student or instructor account with membership in at least one course.
- The course title or code for the work you intend to open.
You are done when
- The course header shows the expected title and code.
- The selected course area shows its loaded, empty, unavailable, or permission state.
If something goes wrong
- Use Retry on the course surface when loading fails.
- If a course is absent from the course list, ask the facility administrator or course instructor to verify membership.
Open the correct course
Choose a course from your course list
Use the course title and code to confirm the correct context before opening work or uploading files.
Use course navigation
Move between the areas enabled for that course. On narrow screens, the tab strip scrolls so active and adjacent areas remain available.
Read the current state
Draft, published, unavailable, or permission-limited states appear with text and structure, not color alone.
Continue with
Understand role applications, navigation, preferences, and the boundaries that determine what you can see.
Submit assignments and take examsUse the Student application to save assignment work, submit an immutable attempt, and complete an available exam attempt.
Use course files and whiteboardsOrganize and open the shared course library, preview documents and video inside Mirket, and draw on saved or live-collaborative whiteboards.
