Licensing

Two ways to run Mirket. Same product either way.

Every installation serves one educational facility. The licences differ in who operates the data plane — not in what the product does.

On-premise licence

You run the data plane.

Mirket is installed on infrastructure your facility owns or rents. Learner records, submissions, and learning files never leave hardware you control.

Best for: Facilities with an internal operations team, or a regulatory position that requires data to remain on named infrastructure.

What the licence includes

  • Perpetual licence for one educational facility, one installation
  • Container images for the API, workers, real-time services, and the three role applications
  • Reference deployment: PostgreSQL, Redis, object storage, and collaboration services
  • Operator manual covering installation, upgrade, backup, and recovery procedures
  • Versioned upgrades for the duration of your maintenance term

Priced per facility once we know your size, deployment shape, and support term.

Hosted application licence

We run the data plane for you.

The same product, operated by us on a dedicated instance. Your facility still gets its own isolated runtime, database, and storage — hosting does not mean sharing.

Best for: Facilities that want the product without staffing infrastructure operations, and are able to place learner data with a processor.

What the licence includes

  • Annual licence for one educational facility on a dedicated instance
  • Isolated runtime, database, and object storage — never pooled with another facility
  • Provisioning, monitoring, patching, and version upgrades handled by us
  • Managed backups with an agreed retention and restore target
  • Named support contact and an agreed response window

Priced per facility once we know your size, deployment shape, and support term.

Where the licences differ.

Four operational questions separate them. Everything else is the same product under the same isolation model.

Who operates the data plane
On-premise licence Your operations team
Hosted application licence Mirket, on a dedicated instance
Where facility data lives
On-premise licence Infrastructure you control
Hosted application licence A region agreed with you
Upgrades
On-premise licence You schedule and apply them
Hosted application licence Applied by us on an agreed window
Backups
On-premise licence Your backup policy and retention
Hosted application licence Managed, with agreed retention

Included in both licences.

There is no reduced edition. Choosing hosting does not remove capability, and choosing on-premise does not withhold it.

  • One educational facility per installation — no shared tenancy in either licence
  • The complete product: learning, assessment, collaboration, live sessions, chat, and reporting
  • Student, instructor, and administrator applications with role-scoped permissions
  • Bilingual interface with the full user manual
  • Facility-scoped storage with signed delivery rather than public object URLs

Before you get in touch.

Why is there no price on this page?

Both licences are scoped to a facility: the number of people, the deployment shape, and the support term all change the figure. We would rather give you an accurate quote than a headline number that does not survive the first conversation.

Can we start hosted and move on-premise later?

Yes. It is the same product and the same data model, so a hosted instance can be exported and re-installed on your own infrastructure. Agree the migration path with sales before signing so the export and hand-over are written into the contract.

Does hosted mean our data is pooled with other facilities?

No. A hosted instance is dedicated: separate application processes, database, and storage namespace. The isolation model is identical to an on-premise installation — the difference is who operates it.

What about learners under 18?

Mirket is built for facilities whose learners include minors, which is why the data plane is facility-scoped in both licences and learning files use exact-context access policies. Bring your data protection requirements to the first sales conversation so the deployment shape is decided with them in view.

Tell us about your facility.

Roughly how many learners and instructors, where the data needs to live, and when you would want to run it. That is enough for a first conversation and an accurate quote.
